I thought he was coming after me. He was supposed to be coming after me. When I saw him standing outside that night... I thought he was looking at me.
I mean, it made sense to me. I was the one that realized what my dad was obsessing over. I was the one that knew about him. He's supposed to be attracted to people that know about him, right?
And let's be honest, I'm the one that deserves to die, here. I'm the freak.
I guess it's hard to tell where a monster's looking when it doesn't have a face, though.
I saw him again. Well, I've seen him a lot since I made that last post. More evidence that he was after me, I thought. Unfortunately, I was wrong. It's not me he's been watching. It's not my window he's been standing at all night.
It's my grandmother's.
She's the only family I've really got left. All those aunts and uncles and cousins that give me sideways glances and whisper about me behind their hands aren't my family. My grandma's the only shoulder I've got left to cry on. I'm not going to lose her.

I'm Done
I can’t do this anymore. My
mom died, and now my dad is dead. If it really was the Slenderman that killed
my dad, then he’s probably coming after me next. I know there’s no getting away
from that. I’ve got no financial future; I’m probably going to die.
Right now, I think it would be
best for me to just lie down quietly.

Here it Goes
I knew what they were going to
say when I got the call. I was expecting to hear about a body and something
about suicide or that the police shot him in self-defense at the most. Instead,
they talked asked to talk to my grandma, and she said she had to go identify
the remains.
Obviously, I wanted to come
along. She wouldn’t let me at first, but she finally caved when I started
crying. I wanted to see my dad, even if it was just his body. In the end, I
didn’t see much of him.
The police said it was
probably a wild animal. I mean, that’s the only explanation that makes any sense. Because of that, they said it’s
okay for me to talk about it on the Internet…
We had to identify him mostly
from his belongings… They’d gathered…
Oh god… I can’t. I’m sorry.
The funny thing is… A large
part of me keeps thinking that it was the Slenderman that did this. I realize
how ridiculous that is, but… with what my dad was doing beforehand, and the
condition he was found in…
Slenderman is not real. He
can’t be real.

Sorry
I’m so sorry about that last
post. I still don’t really know what to say or how to say it. I just really
needed to write out something last
night, and that’s what came out. I’ve calmed down a bit, and I’ve had time to
gather my thoughts a bit.
… I’ve been writing and
deleting things for the past ten minutes now. I want to tell you guys what
happened… but I don’t know if you really want to know.
I don’t feel comfortable
giving the details right now (honestly, I’m not sure if I’m allowed to), but my
dad is dead. It’s just me and my grandma now. And I’m terrified.

Please Be Safe
My dad is missing. The
hospital staff aren’t sure how he out from under their noses, but they’ve
alerted the police and they’ve got a bunch of people on the lookout for him.
He didn’t seem too opposed to
going to the hospital when we calmed him down after he attacked me. It’s
possible that he had another one of those weird breaks, though. I’m worried
about what he might do to himself—or even others—now that he’s out, especially
considering his obsession with this slenderman thing.
